Monthly Parkers

To enroll for monthly parking, please reach out directly to parkharrisburg@metropolis.io with your information.

Payments will be made automatically on the Metropolis platform at the beginning of each month. If you remove your payment from the Metropolis Platform it will automatically cancel your subscription.
You may come to our office at 223 Walnut Street, Suite 1 to switch garages. Office Hours are Monday-Friday 9:00AM – 4:00PM.
Yes, If you are planning on using the garage after hours, please visit our office located at 223 Walnut St Harrisburg PA 17101 Monday-Friday 9am – 4pm for a key card to use at the pedestrian doors and the roll gate upon entering the garage. The key card will eventually be eliminated and replaced with metropolis equipment in the near future.
You can cancel parking anytime on the Metropolis platform by going to app.metropolis.io, signing in, clicking the menu in the upper left corner, go to subscriptions and cancel your subscription. Those who cancel in the middle of the month, will not be refunded for remaining days in that month.

ON-STREET

Meters are enforced from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday. There is no charge for meter parking on Sunday and major holidays which include:

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • Presidents’ Day
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Columbus Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Friday following Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day

You need to enter your complete license plate. If it is a special plate, be sure to enter it exactly as it appears.

Yes. The new meters/kiosks accept credit cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover). The minimum charge when using a credit card is $1.50.

Not automatically. Receipts are optional; you must follow the prompt on the screen to print a receipt.

No, the receipt does not need to be placed on your dashboard. Keep it for your records only.

Yes, individuals with a disability have to pay to park. But, as mandated by the State, they are entitled to receive 60 minutes in excess of the time they purchase. The individual must display a valid handicap placard or have a handicap license plate.

No. When any button is pressed, the meter screen will light for the duration of the transaction.

If a meter malfunctions, you can pay at any other parking meter.

 

There are no refunds because there is no way to determine the amount of time that you actually parked.

Parking can only be extended by phone when you use a credit card.

 

No, you must add time to your session before it expires. If your time expires before you extend your session, then you must find a meter and start a new session.

 

Yes, it will be enforced regardless of the weather. Vehicles must be moved according to the appropriate schedule.
