Park Harrisburg Extends “AFTER 5” Metered Parking Promotion

Discounted metered rates for Parkmobile users in the Central Business District from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Harrisburg, Pa. (May 09, 2017) – SP+ Municipal Services, an operating division of SP Plus Corporation, has agreed to fund the “AFTER 5” on-street parking promotion until the end of the month. Since its inception in March, Parkmobile, the new mobile payments service provider in the City of Harrisburg, has been offering residents and visitors who use its mobile app to initiate and pay for a parking session a special rate of $1.00 per hour to park in any Central Business District on-street space between the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The “AFTER 5” promotion was initially set to end May 8th.

To participate, parkers should register in advance by downloading the mobile app in their phone’s app store or online at www.parkmobile.com. After setting up their account, they can immediately begin using the system with their registered mobile phone.

Parkmobile’s LUVHBG promotion, which provides 4 hours of free metered parking on Saturdays, will continue to be available after this month.
